A beloved symbol
Our traditional boat, SANTINO, is a beloved symbol of the area and provides a safe and comfortable way to discover the history of Navarino Bay.
Built at a Greek shipyard in 1986 by Andreas Psilolychnos, it was originally constructed to meet the needs of the commercial port of Pylos, serving the transport of passengers to large commercial ships, as well as the few tourists who visited the area at that time.

It was a member of the Pylos Boatmen’s Association, which in 1986 numbered 12 launches.
Today, Santino is the last launch in Pylos and one of the few remaining Greek vessels, reminding us of images from another era.
